ARRIVE DUBLIN

On arrival in Dublin, you will be met and transferred (only arrivals between 0800 and 1200 hours) by our local representative to your hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure for you to explore the wonders of this vibrant city on your own. Overnight in Dublin. (D)

DAY 2

DUBLIN – KERRY

Today, you will depart Ireland’s Capital and travel to County Kerry, en route making a stop in the town of Blarney for a visit to Blarney Castle, a tower house built on solid limestone. Kiss the legendary Stone of Eloquence at the top of the Tower and you will never again be lost for words. Enjoy some time for shopping at Blarney Woollen Mills. Overnight in Kerry. (B, D)

DAY 3

KERRY

A delightful day as you enjoy a tour of the Iveragh Peninsula and discover the Ring of Kerry. Soak in the spectacular scenery and magnificent views of the Atlantic Ocean. Leaving Killarney, you will pass through Killorglin, famous for its Puck Fair, on to Glenbeigh where the cliff road affords panoramic views of the Dingle Peninsula and Dingle Bay. Passing through the peat bogs, you arrive at the sea town of Waterville. Continue to Sneem Village famous for its brightly coloured houses, through the mountains to Molls Gap and Ladies View with superb views of the famous Lakes of Killarney. Visit Muckross House in the heart of the Killarney National Park, built in 1843 by the Herbert Family, in Elizabethan style. Overnight in Kerry region. (B, D)

DAY 4

KERRY – LIMERICK

Today, you will travel northwards to Tarbert and take a short boat ride across the mouth of the river Shannon to land on Clare’s shore at Killimer. Journey along the coast to the magnificent Cliffs of Moher which stretch for 8km and rise up to 215 metres above the Atlantic Ocean. Continue to enjoy a tour of the Burren Region with its unique expanse of limestone terrain, famous around the world for its wonderful variety of botany. The area is rich in ancient and early Christian historical sites. Carry onwards to Limerick and check in to your hotel.  In the evening, enjoy a Medieval Banquet at Bunratty Castle. Built in the 15th century by the Earl of Thomond, the Castle is one of the finest surviving examples of an Irish tower house. Join the Earl’s Banquet for a unique dinner experience with entertainment provided by the world renowned Bunratty Singers, a fitting compliment to a mead reception, a four course meal, and of course great wine.  Overnight in Limerick. DAY 5

LIMERICK – DEPART DUBLIN

After a final Irish breakfast, transfer on own arrangement to Shannon for your flight back home. Or Travel to Dublin via the medieval city of Kilkenny and visit Kilkenny Castle, built on the site of a fort founded by Strongbow and was the principal residence of the Butler Family for 600 years. Tour the superb Victorian style apartments and the Long Gallery with its interesting collection of paintings. You will also visit the 13th century gothic cathedral of St. Canice, built on the site of a 6th century Monastic settlement. Continue to Dublin and transfer to the airport for your flight back home.
